In short: I collect only what is needed to book and run your session. I don’t record your conversations, and I never sell your information.

MAYA (“I”, “me”) is a listening and friendly conversation service run by [Your Name], based in [Your City], India. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, and what your rights are under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What I collect

Booking details: your name or nickname, email address, chosen time slot, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
Payment details: payments are handled by Razorpay or UPI. I see that a payment was made and its amount, but I do not store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
Reviews (optional): anything you choose to write in a review, and the name or initials you choose to show.
Messages to me: emails or messages you send to my contact address.

2. What I do not do

I do not record your calls or chats.
I do not keep notes of what you say in a session beyond what is needed to keep anyone safe.
I do not sell, rent or trade your information.
I do not use your conversations for advertising.

3. Why I use your information

To confirm your booking, send reminders and the call link.
To confirm payment and handle refunds.
To reply to your messages.
To show your review on the site, only if you agree.
To meet legal obligations, such as tax and payment records.

4. Who else handles your data

To run the service, some information passes through tools I use: a scheduling tool (such as Calendly or Cal.com), Google (email, calendar and Google Meet) and Razorpay (payments). These providers have their own privacy policies and process data on my behalf.

5. When I may share information

I keep what you share confidential. I may share limited information only if you clearly indicate you are about to seriously harm yourself or someone else, or if the law requires it, and only as far as needed to keep people safe.

6. How long I keep it

I keep booking and email records only as long as needed for the service, and payment records for as long as the law requires. You can ask me to delete your information earlier, except where I must keep it by law.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask me to:

tell you what personal data I hold about you,
correct or update it,
erase it,
withdraw your consent at any time, and
address a complaint or grievance.

8. Who can use MAYA

MAYA is for people aged 18 and over. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has booked a session, please tell me and I will delete the information.

9. Security

I use reputable services and keep my accounts protected with strong passwords and two-step verification. No system is completely secure, but I take reasonable care of your information.

10. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies. The tools linked from it (scheduling, payments, fonts) may set their own cookies under their own policies.

11. Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top. Please check it from time to time.
